When a customer shares a story with you, listen intently to every detail. Don’t interrupt, don’t assume you know where the story is headed, and don’t be so quick to offer a solution, observation, or idea. Just be a great listener first.

  1. Yes I agree. Generally, people like to talk and when you know how to listen carefully you leave a huge impact in people’s mind. And for the customer it is even more true.

  2. I agree…Listening is a skill we hone over the years! It is not natural for some. Yet take a look at our best leaders. They are all great listeners.
